UHPC Wear protection installation in a mine in Europe

For a large European plant supplier for
the mining industry, we received the
order to line the entire new conveyor
system on site in the mine. The system
supplier specified UHPC wear protection
as wear protection material.

Our customer rented a hall next to the
mine for the assembly work on the
sometimes complicated steel structures.
Our customer welded in the expanded
metal reinforcement according to our
specification. The pallets with UHPC
wear protection material are already on
site, now WPE DK assembly team
will arrive and line the steel components.

We plan about 3 weeks for the work.
Some steel parts have to be adapted in
the system and then come to the workshop
to be lined.
The material thickness of UHPC was
specified as 25 mm / 1.0 inch. Approx.
30 tons of wear protection material are
processed.
