UHPC Ultra High Performance concrete, art and furniture design are growing together more and more.At this year's international trade fairs art cologne and imm cologne, we talked to some international artists and furniture designers. Great interest was shown in the diverse installation and design options of UHPC. Not unexpected was the interest of Arab architects, designers and hotel operators.
We were able to show our interlocutors the enormous combinability with an endless number of materials/aggregates with our UHPC materials. There were also discussed possibilities of special UHPC products for the furniture industry. A product was especially discussed - the processing of desert sand into concrete - a real natural material.
Initial agreements for joint development have been made. At the beginning of January, we will deliver the first UHPC materials to a furniture designer in Asia. A team of us will jointly produce the first samples togehter with our customers on site.
